Beware when the temperature drops!
Cold Process Roofs can be applied all year round. However, petroleum products are temperature-sensitive. When the temperature drops below 75°F, the viscosity, or flow characteristics, of petroleum products changes and is difficult to work.
Roofmaster patented Warm-Master in 1976 as an in-line heat exchange unit to return material to a sprayable viscosity by warming it indirectly. This eliminates the need for thinning the material with dangerous solvents or scorching it with a direct flame. The material is warmed as it is pressure-pumped from a material pump through the Warm-Master to the roof.
